I'd read a book by Jesse Livermore and it mentioned buying on strength. I don't mind averaging down on a stock I know is good, but to keep adding when something drops isn't always wise. It just depends on the stock and your strategy. However, with BIOS..knew it was beaten down and bought 500 shares, then wasn't going to average down with that one, so waited until it showed a turnaround to increase the position by 500 shares in my IRA and 2k in my trading.
