Ford has had plants in Canada and Mexico long before NAFTA.

Do you support free trade? You know I thought NAFTA might be a good idea. It was sold that markets would be opened both ways and that it would be good for all members. But hey Canada got burned on softwood and Mexicans got burned on avocados. Americans lost some jobs.

One thing I was hoping for was that NAFTA might help out the Mexican economy and stem the tide of illegals. I was hoping that mexicans would have a better chance of getting a job in their country. It's a poor country you know. It's a country of very rich and very poor, like republicans want to turn America into.

I've changed my mind...not so much because of NAFTA, but because of China and the rest of the world sucking jobs away. Something like Free Trade sounds so good...Free and Breezy Free trade. But now I know Free trade means good paying jobs leave Freely every day.

Nope...I don't like Free Trade anymore. I think we need Fair Trade. Fair Trade considers the cost of selling out your communities for a fast buck. The cost of non regulated labor and environmental laws in foreign countries.

Screw free trade...What we need is Fair Trade. Protect American communities, jobs and the environment.
