BCB,

I've seen U3O8 values from about .05% to above 25% in reading about producing or past producing mines. Just like all the metals there are the usual factors to consider when selecting the cos to buy.

I just like to break all the different type of metal stocks down to a $ value per ton before comparing them on other metrics. That applies either within or outside their respective vertical markets. It seems to work for me in most cases. The big exception being those "veiny" Mexican silver plays. I just don't get them LOL.

Considering the dearth of uranium processing facilities, I would expect the cost to process U to be much higher than gold. What do we have about 3 in the US and not many more in Canada?

I get the feeling that much higher U prices will be needed to make new production profitable in most cases. Not a ton of recent feasibility studies to go on either.
