What 'aid' would that give?

(Seems like the next, and critical, step... would be to *establish* the 'aid' point....)

Also --- and this may seem a bit tangental, but it seems relevant to me: If this meeting in and of itself fulfilled the US legal require to establish 'treason'... then why didn't Nixon (or the local federal Prosecutor) do their duty and bring charges?

(Could it be that --- although IMO, such a meeting may well have violated the ban on private citizens conducting 'foreign policy', it still fell about a mile short of the legal requirements for 'treason'?)
