"if I violated the traffic laws of our state, yet was not charged or ticketed, does that mean I didn't violate the law?" If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it, eh? (But what if it not only happens in the full light of day... but also plays out in real time, splashed across the headlines of the newspapers of the world, Steve? How can you say that no one was aware of it then? And --- since everyone was EXTREMELY aware of these events, then how do you explain why nothing was charged? Nixon just went soft? No one cared about federal laws anymore? Or... perhaps there was no federal crime?)
