I figure that, since there's no ability to raise an army of 200,000 to go bring peace to that country, we may have ideas but relatively little power (if any) to make anything happen.

I can't tell if the region is spinning more out of control or if there's a possible break in the willingness of neighboring countries to band together and come to some kind of agreement. I suspect no one knows so it's just a matter of watching it all sort itself out.
