We have a second chance as a nation now. Let the democrats get their footing then gradually get to work, along with honest Republicans. Don't expect miracles right away. But the tide has been stemmed. The far right Bush revolution is greatly slowed. Soon it can be stopped. But first, compromises will have to be made. Bush screwed up so bad in Iraq and with the national debt that there is only so much goodness which can come out of it short-term. So much damage has been done. Some of which we don't even know about yet. Like the national debt. And the incapacity of our military to heal from the Iraq disaster any time soon. Just think, Iraq was ten times worse for our country than 9-11 was. Bush did us ten times as much damage as the terrorists could even on their luckiest day. So support the present government, minus Bush-Cheney.
