I think most readers will agree with you on an intuitive level. Tim's concerns aside, however, what the 'Net has done has been to radically lower barriers to curiosity seekers, malcontents and others who probably never would have had the internal drive or abilities to take the next step to delve into how it's done, otherwise. From a more practical standpoint, nuclear weapons are of less immediate concern than devices made of horse manure and penny nails, also available on the Web at yet far lower thresholds to social cleansers, freedom fighters and ne'er-do-wells, alike.
