The trick for any Democratic nominee will be to articulate a policy that looks strong but also addresses the bullheaded blinders that afflict the current policy formulation. Any such mix will be relentlessly attacked as weak by the right, simply because it doesn't perpetuate the bullheaded blinders approach. And it will be attacked by the progressive left for trying to assert any strength at all.

It will be a very tricky tightrope for the whole 2008 field of wannabes.

I get so disgusted with the right wing commentators... radio hosts who refer to Hillary with venom. Last night one was referring to her big ass.. They only have denigrating remarks to make but nothing about her positive. This is why I so detest these guys... Someone always has something good that one could find to say and personal attacks are vile.
