We had a great Thanksgiving week Mephisto, Thank you for asking.. And I trust you and yours did also.. :) We were pretty busy for the whole week as family came down, some of those blond "flyover liberals", you Know.. :) We had somewhat of a "Cougette Feast" :) (a steal of the movie 'Babettes Feast') .. We ALL pitched in.. Us Finns and Swedes are pretty good cooks, besides being pretty, just kidding, of course.. :).. So we didn't do pumpkin pies for deserts except for one great pick that niece K did.. A fantastic pepermint icecream cake.. The rest we bought at Costco, a pumpkin cheesecake and a great carmel apple pie.. :) BTW, for starters, Mary and I made the brine for the turkey, that it soaked in for a day before cooking and it turned out great..I made the fresh cranberries.... My bro and I made the potatoes., Others made the dressing,, the vegies, the sweet potatoes, etc.. And so it went on.. On and on.. But most of ALL we had JUST had fun together.. For a week.. We won some games we lost some games.. But ALSO, most of all, we were are ALL just ONE, Hanging out together in this great game of life.. :) Take care, m
