LOL, principles like "I voted for the war before I voted against the war, but now I'm both for and against it... again." Look, there are people of principle who are against the war. Some 30% of the population might be, and have been, in that category. I do not begrudge that opinion, nor the position that Iraq could have been a mistake. Those are not the majority of people leading the party, nor making the hue and cry about Bush being a Nazi, yada yada. The dems won this cycle because the Americans have no stomach for any protracted effort, unless it is the stock market going up. Even Somalia took too long, and a body was dragged through the streets. OBL saw that paper tiger America. And our brave citizenry has heard a constant drum beat from leftists who have been cryin since Bush stole the election in 2000, sent planes into the WTC then evacuated all the Saudis, outed Valerie Plame, caused massive hurricanes and the future flooding of our coastlands, condemned poor blacks to die by the dozens in the Superdome, and hired the oreo Uncle Tom Condi. O, did I mention Cheney and Libby outed Valerie plame and seriously compromised our national security. And we flushed Korans down the toilet in Gitmo? It's all about the principle, and the dozing American public has finally been prodded awake by the defenders of truth, freedom, principle, and civil rights? Have at it. You have an awakened, enlightened American public on your side. Show us they have not been duped, as it has been claimed since 2000 that the public is so gullible and dumb to believe a lie.
