Good examples of the White HOuse trying to exert 'damage control' to their falling approval ratings. They tried to link a vote for change, as a vote for Al-Quida, alas, America (the majority) saw through it, and sent Washington a strong signal.

"I tell (Bush): don't hurry to flee like your defense minister (Donald Rumsfeld, who resigned Wednesday). We have still not quenched our thirst for your blood." - Abu Hamza al-Muhajer

You and Abu Hamza al-Muhajer have something in common, neither one wants the US to cut and run from Iraq.
