I've noticed over the years, among some. BERKSHIRE,Fidelity, and GAMCO do this a lot. A chance to buy a big stake in a company they like for the longer term. Just buying an initial stake of size, in the open market would cause upward pressure. Waiting for others exit on disappointment can cause an entry or build to a stake.

OK, gottcha. Thanks for the explanation, makes sense indeed!
And that covers it as compared to the header and the way I understood the language there.
My mistake: I didn't follow the posts, too busy right now with our "Picks of the Quarter" contest kicking off on Monday :)
