The bottom line is MPV stock is going up even through all of this debate,I expect a yr from now the stock will be much higher and the value debate will still rage. The only thing different is the money lost by those who did not place a bet because of this chat. James

James,

I’d like to thank you for all the terrific discussion we’ve had on this board. It may look like I’m out to save the world, but that’s not really the way it is. These passionate exchanges between you, me, Will P, and others, have really allowed us to examine this aspect of the diamond business under an electron scanning microscope, in a way that would not have been possible just working things out by ourselves.

I’m here to learn, and sometimes you can learn a lot more from your opponents, than your friends. Having someone like you, James, constantly probing for weak points in my arguments, has strengthened my own understanding of the issues immeasurably.

It’s obvious that Patrick Evans has big ambitions for MPV, and this is being reflected in the large numbers coming from all analyst reports.

You can be wrong James, and still be right. In the end the stock market comes down to perception, even more than fundamentals. Your only real danger is sudden catastrophic failure; i.e. Nicky Oppenheimer gets tired of the whole business and decides to ice the project. I consider this possibility unlikely. A stalled environmental review would accomplish the exact same thing without all of the negative consequences.

I sincerely wish you good luck, James. The technical indicators seem strong right now, and a breakout could occur unexpectedly.

Yours truly, Bloomfield
