My thoughts right now are for CC, and I'm sure this US debate will go on.

I think the form of the debate will change, though. Now that the debt problems are coming to the surface, the US won't be able to expend the kinds of energies it has, and the restlessness at home will force a few people to actually start paying attention.

People are being lied to, but they're providing a receptive audience. As soon as it's no longer in their interests to play along, we'll start to see some change in the US.

Might play out slowly, might get ugly quickly. Mexicans, Islamics, Chinese, Japanese, and the usual suspects. No shortage of scapegoats.
