. Americans can handle an impeachment and conviction if it's necessary in order to correct wrongs and set the record straight with the rest of the world. IN fact, if Bush lied about the reasons to invade Iraq, we OWE it to the world to punish the perpetrators of that unforgivable decision.

Strange things are happening. Met an old friend at lunch. He voted for Bush twice (although he held his nose the second time). He was wearing a cap with an 'IMPEACH BUSH' button on it. This is a guy who does not pay a lot of attention to politics. The neocon propaganda machine had him for awhile, but now he's rabid anti-Bush. Beyond rabid...feels betrayed and misled and actually said he thought impeachment would be too good for 'that lying bastard.' If pigs had wings, they could fly. I saw a flock of them flapping up there today...
