That's because macro trends are easier to predict than micro trends. For example, I can tell you that 20 years from now, the probability is very high that the stock market will be higher than it is today. But I can't tell you with any degree of certainty what the stock market will look like tomorrow. But if you had even a high school level education, you would know that. Or did you spend your school years with your fingers in your ears and your thumb up your a**?
