The spelling and reading problems stem from the tendency to reverse letters. So the typical dyslexic spelling error it switch letter positions.

Dyslexia is a congenital and developmental condition that causes neurological anomalies in the brain.


The sentence above is the key......most people who have difficulty reading do not have "neurological anomalies in the brain".
