Whoa... YES... I too... remember that flower smell... they were beautiful white flowers in a lei sent from Hawaii for my grandmother.

Recall is really amazing isn't it. You can close your eyes and actually smell a rose, or touch a thorn and feel ouch, etc.

We are amazing human beings!!

It's not something a small child can grasp very well. Adults can sometimes make it worse for a kid by smothering them and talking on and on about the person that's passed, not the good stuff but you know the kinds of people I'm talking about, they dwell on their illness or how unfortunate they were at some point in their life.
