I can't stand the media, but I also can't stand the wimp Trent Lott. There is no telling how many emails I sent him when he was Speaker telling him to stand up and be counted...

Peter, if it weren't for the MSM, would you ever have known Byrd was a Klegle? WHO broke that story? "nice words about Strom Thurmond" You mean THE Strom Thurmond that RAPED the housekeeper? You mean THE Strom Thurmond that HAD a black child as a result of his rape, but wanted to be elected President based on his position that Blacks were inferior and should not be given the same rights as whites, even the daughter that was born as a result of his rape??? NEITHER of those guys should have been allowed to remain in the Senate after the truth about their backgrounds was revealed. If I could get Byrd kicked out I would. But YOU...seem to think Party is more important than ethics, thus the "sickening" defense of Lott based on something that is also sickening. Are you saying that ANYTHING a Republican does is O.K. as long as you can find a Democrat that has done something equally bad or worse????
