encouraging healthy eating habits and lifestyles. Yes. In fact to extend that I'd say make the school day longer. Add more physical education, healthier diet.. and totally eliminate this foolishness of the daycare issue. We wouldn't need it except for the very young. My son is a t daycare on the school grounds run by the YMCA. One drop off, one pickup... no bussing to a daycare and wasting time travelling .. healthy snacks, works great.. I don't ever expect a politician to come up with something like that though.

As the obesity issue grows in this country we are more than ever inundated by information on what is healthy... seems like a conundrum to me..
