Hindsight is so good, that's for sure. But in many respects, I agree with you....

However, I do have serious reservations about interfacing at all with Iran, and Syria. Those two countries are a good deal of the problem, not the solution. And the Saudi's have been less than helpful as well.

And one other thing to think about....We as a Country, promised Iraq that we would stick by them....but now, the Dems control the House and Senate, and that promise may go out the window, just as it did in VietNam.

Should we really blame the Iraqi citizens for not helping more, when in fact, the country the size of California, may get back the same type of terrorist leadership (term used very loosely) as they had with Saddam? The average citizen didn't have guns and heavy equipment to ward off the barbarians....

All most people want to do is live, and let live. Including the Americans. But too many people around the world don't like us for mostly envy reasons. So we have to be one step ahead of them, UNLESS we want to live in the same type of cesspool that many in the world already live in.
