The holdup is usually refugees. Streamlining the system, is far more necessary than some of the stuff on parliament's plate right now.Time parliament worked MORE days a year. Parliament should be in session 250 days a year.

They should just set quotas on how many ... including all those in the queue... some years less get in... Criminal charge ? GONG ! Commit a crime here while simply a landed immigrant ? GONG ! (OK depends on the crime severity maybe) Probably (callous as it is) we need a refugee camp area. We keep you there until we are sure. That way if you flunk the refugee test we know where you are !! GONG ! We got a lot of TOP QUALITY immigrants here when Hong King was going back to China. Many returned after the hub hub died down and the sky did not fall... The tax differential between Financial Freedom Rock and Canada was just a Bridge too Far for many..
