I was surprised they paid so much because Bruno will have a much smaller U.S. audience than Borat.

I don't think that Cohen being more well-known will effect it much because Bruno tends to interview people who are in love with themselves (i.e., attention whores) and who would play to the camera even if they know it's a gag.
