"War on Nature!" is their latest campaign. Didn't you get the memo?

Its the mad quest for power and control. The same quest they had for oil, Iraq and Afghanistan. Now the focus is on nature.

Meanwhile human beings and humanity are falling apart.

Rather than fixing society with moral, legal and social imperatives to prevent child sexual abuse, they try to drown that abuse in medication (for PTSD) and make stupid excuses and justifications for the people who molest and sexually exploit children; they "mitigate the pain of sexual trauma" and let them go easy. Heck, if this goes on and we're able to control/erase the memories, one day sexual abuse may even be deemed a public sport - just like boxing or any extreme sport that thrills thru controlled torture!

Sexual abuse in childhood is implicated in adult aggression, need for power and control and antisocial, maglomaniac behavior - all are hallmarks of our existing politicians and society. The perpetuators, victims, lawmakers, politicians - all on the same bandwagon of cause and effect. Like Bono said "you become a monster so the monster may not get you." So its the "who came first the chicken and the egg " story, but that doesn't matter anyway because eventually they both *become* the same species........statistically the victims tend to become as criminal and antisocial as the perpetrators...and inflict the same traume on their poor unsuspecting children...

The West as a whole, and this country in particular, doesn't have much hope I'd say. When such arrogance and superiority sets in, its an indication that the boom is over, the bust follows...

Oh well....
