Bush's "solution" has already killed more US citizens than another 911. And cost US taxpayers how many billions of dollars, probably more than any likely terrorist attack would cost, especially now that our defensive posture has been awakened. And for what? We are no more safe from another terrorist attack because of the Iraq war than we would have been without invading Iraq. That is an article of faith. It's not fact. The idea that the war in Iraq has had any deterrent effect whatsoever on the likelihood of another terrorist attack within the US is not a proven idea. It's just a belief of the faithful. It's a feel good excuse.
