DTK was given plenty of rope. He hung himself. He is suspended - not permanently banned. This thread has no problem with differing POV's, though we prefer reality based POV's. This thread encourages healthy debate of differing POV's. That includes heated, even vehement disagreements as long as most of it is focused on the subject matter (and any strident rhetoric is judiciously used & accurate). All of that can be accomplished without resorting to baseless cheap shots, insults, ridicule & name calling personal attacks. Once that starts the debate denigrates into an endless series of them hurled at an ever increasing rate. There are countless examples of this already on SI. Why should I allow that BS to ruin another good thread? As long as I'm moderator here I will not tolerate repeated baseless personal attacks, insults, or ridicule, ET AL.
