I'm not into snakes all that much one way or the other. In Alaska, we had none and it didn't bother me.

You come on down my way, and we'll go to the Imnaha Bear and Rattlesnake Feed sometime.

I was down there last summer. The Imnaha Store had a large piece of butcher paper taped to the front of a big chest freezer. Everyone who'd killed a rattlesnake wrote his/her name on the paper. There were dozens of names listed, some with 6 or more hash marks.
