Apparently people weren't paying too much attention to the recent news on CSLR, the company from Rivera Beach FL.<g> On Sep.14 it announced that Carondelet Health Network had selected its Amelior automatic tracking software to improve the efficiency of St. Mary's Hospital ER & St. Joseph's Hospital OR. And on Nov.7 it announced that N.Y. Presbyterian Hospital had selected its Amelior tracking software to improve the efficiency of care throughout its OR department. And on Sunday it announced that Gilbert Hospital in Arizona also had selected its Amelior tracking system for the ER. Today the stock had a good spike trading at 14.88 at 11.10AM & after a little consolidation at the 9.90 level it came back to trade at 15.09 at 3.10PM. The volume is aleady over 1,644,700 which is more than 2x its float of 730Ks. <g> At any rate, the stock is still trading around 12.70 almost 400% above yesterday's close of $3.34 <g> bigcharts.marketwatch.com Bernard

AFFX Is trading above its Oct 27 H It didn't completely close its Jan 8 UG bigcharts.marketwatch.com The 4thQ results weren't good, but still better than it was expected & Caris "upgraded" it today.<g> The EE for 200& are around $0.30/shr vs. $0.11/shr in 2006 & a further improvement to $0.55/shr is expected in 2008 AFFX announced in Apr that it had filed for an offer up to $115M in Perlegen's stock, but it hasn't decide how many shrs. it will put up for sale or when.<g> Will the IPO come out soon ? <g> Bernard

There goes VPHM ahead of Tuck's Biotech's "January-May Effect" <g> In spite of the poor 3rdQ report, the stock seems to have found support at the 7.11 level & those are apparently lucky numbers.<g> bigcharts.marketwatch.com The stock needs to close above the resistance at the $10 to $10.30 level. bigcharts.marketwatch.com In spite of the poor results in the 3rdQ the EE for 2007 is still around $1.15 vs. $0.95 in 2006 but for 2008 the EE are down to $0.70. However VPHM has +CF >$1 & the short position had increased 43% to 7.7x its ADV (another lucky number.<g>) At any rate, it seems one should keep a close watch on VPHM, while we wait for the "January Effect".<g> bigcharts.marketwatch.com Bernard
