[SVM .. CPST] And shares of Servicemaster Co. leaped premarket after the Downers Grove, Ill.-based lawn care service and pest control provider said it is considering selling itself. Servicemaster said it hired Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs to "explore strategic alternatives." The company's stock jumped 95 cents, or 8 percent, to $12.85 before the bell from their close the Big Board Monday at $11.90. On the winning side in the early session, shares of Capstone Turbine Corp. jumped after the Chatsworth, Calif.-based microturbine technology developer signed a five-year agreement with Mexico's state oil company, Petroleos Mexicanos, to supply parts and services for microturbines installed on platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. Capstone Turbine's stock rose 7 cents, or 5.4 percent to $1.36 after closing the Nasdaq at $1.29 Monday. biz.yahoo.com
