Can one expect some kind of upgrade cycle for servers as well?

I don't think so. Vista's main new features seem to be entertainment related. Such as graphics effects. I don't think it does anything for servers.

Besides, the validation process for servers makes it unlikely that Vista would be adopted before many months have passed, to assess its stability, and possible security bugs.

Also, commerce servers usually run some version of Unix , Linux, or Windows 2000 server.
