There are only 2 things of importance towards the USA maintaining their present day Standard of Living, Freedoms, a viable Economy and a Dominant Global presence.......

1. DeNuclearization of Iran and North Korea...

2. Silencing all Leftwing Liberals in USA...

Day, good to hear from you again too. I could've guessed at the way things happened over on Soup Nation...<g> IMO Soupy just unbans me every once in a while so she can ban me again if I ever post over there... anyway, it's nothing less than expected.

With the current state of the MSM in this country I'd question the validity of just about any pole. In other words, say the MSM runs a story on a bunch of Shia militiamen that grabbed a group of Sunni just coming from prayers, doused them with kerosine and lit them on fire. All the while, it's reported, there's a group of Iraqi policemen standing around watching and doing nothing to stop it. After the story runs, then comes a pole asking if you think Iraq is in the middle of a civil war.......... I think you could see how the general puplic would be swayed into thinking that indeed Iraq is in the middle of a civil war. BTW this very story is in question today. AP hasn't responded to questions from the blogosphere, but it seems that this story was completely unverified and the Iraqi that was used as a source wasn't at all what he said he was. But AP already knew that before they ran the story, they were just hoping that no one caught the fact.

I don't see anything different as far as the impeach Bush crowd goes. The MSM has given the "Bush lied" crowd enough air time to slant anyone. How does the old saying go? If you repeat a lie enough times, sooner or later people accept it as fact....

Polls of that sort are hardly scientific.

Even properly set up polls have their weaknesses. Quick online polls are much weaker. Perhaps they deserve a bit more than no notice or attention, but not a lot more. They aren't accurate ways to measure opinions.
