Brownback is far to the right of the mainstream and very much in with the religious right. He will scare off 75% of the voters.

True though, Bush has the power to practically appoint the next GOP nominee. McCain and Guiliani are the two frontrunners, but they dont sit well with the religious right who vote heavily in primaries. Of course Jeb is available. But how many milions of Americans would want to throw up at the thought of another Bush in the White House?
