His party controls both houses, and more importantly, they did everything he wanted. No one questioned, no one objected, no one did anything.

and the rest is hystory. I will remind us of what richard pearl said about bush...that his first meeting's impressions were that he knew very little about anything...that he could be "directed"...and that they did.

Oh my God, he had never been outside the country before becoming president. He didn't know the difference between mustard and the prime minister of Canada. Of all the times to put a parochial idiot in the presidency, this was not the time. Maybe hundred years ago we could have gotten away with it but not now.
