"Kramer's" outburst was clearly racist. > Racist would be when individuals are treated in a way because of their race. He was responding to them because of their individual behaviour, only coming up with the racial part as a tool to deal with the individual. I'm sure Kramer wouldn't have picked on innocent audience members who were Negroes and launched into a racist attack merely because they were Negroes. That would be utterly racist and not funny at all. The Borat nature of his attack and the response he elicited were not racist. Nor was the response racist really. When somebody's behaviour fits a stereotype and is called on it, that's not racist. When somebody does NOT fit a stereotype, but is accused of it anyway, then that is racist. Tiger Woods being called a homey nigga would be racist. Tupac being called one was essential to his status - he would surely have sued if you called him a nice bloke. lyrics.rare-lyrics.com I would love to have heard the protagonist of Kramer [yes, I know it's not Kramer really, but somebody called Richards] use the K word and launch into Kramer being a Jew. Maybe they could do the show again with a better script. That should fill the room. Hmmm, I should phone them both and take a cut of the profits. Given the reaction, there is obviously a LOT of money to be made from the genre. I must hurry and sign Kramer before somebody gets to him first. Wanna be my agent over there? You can have half.
