Wow. Thanks very much! I'm going to try this formula out keeping your disclaimer in mind. Disclaimer - This is a rough screen only. No weighting is given to the gold grade, mine-ability, equipment value, local circumstances (e.g. laws, political unrest etc.) etc. All of this+ needs to be factored in before making final investment decisions. On this subject I'm reading Valuing Mining Companies (recommended in this post siliconinvestor.com and am really enjoying it. Although my one criticism is that it was written in 1991 and revised in 1999, so it could have been updated when it was re-printed in 2006 to include the start of the bull market. I consider this book to be the next level up from Northern Miner's Mining Explained: Laymen's Guide to Mining. (but it was expensive) Thanks again!
