You can teach a rat to run a maze by putting some cheese at the end of it. If you remove the cheese, the rat will stop running the maze. This is the principal difference between a rat and a man.

So, Slippery One, who is addicted to the maze, the goldbugs or the contrarians? Is it the bugs or the USDollar devotees who think "there's gotta be cheese at the end of this maze!"?
