I can be wrong, prove it and I will admit it, I never ever had to be right all the time. I believe that something about our governments and the vicious relationship between Liberals and Conservatives have made our governmental relationships poisonous. This has made us almost sterile in finding the right way to do anything. The distance and the rage between neoConservatives, who are a fringe group and Progressives, who are a fringe group, limits the discussions, the options, and opportunities for the governments of both the US and Canada. While these two groups clash, they are literally destroying democracy, by denying the logical, cool and rational discussions of the options needed to resolve the problems we face. My faint understanding of Islam, tells me that the worst thing we can do for Us and for Islam is to bend, or to allow them to feel that they have won. I have no hope that either the American Government, the Canadian government, or Nato understands this, or that they comprehend how damaging allowing Islam to view itself as defeating the US will be to all of us. If Iran defeats the US In Iraq, it will use it's nuclear bomb on Israel. Israel knows that. But it also knows that in the game presently on the board the Liberal factions are ignoring the reality of the danger Israelis are in, many of those Liberals are Jews. Much of this can be blamed on a press dedicated to showing only one side of the dispute, but the real blame rests with Americans and Canadians who allow it. So yes go ahead disagree with me, I would love to be wrong.
