G, the concern per Mr. Harper and Flaherty was Bell, possibly the banks etc... . a cascading effect.. A simple NO MORE was all that was needed. No more no less. Problem solved. Integrity intact, speculators burned (Oh well), promise kept. How hard was that ? Is that too much to ask ? No matter how much Harper does well now I will not forget that. It will always nag me. And I lost nothing ! I know I should expect nothing from politicians and would like a lot less of them... Libertarian ? yeah centre-left.. A few issues pull me a bit to the right ..

Trusts have bounced back... they , say a Canetic for example is fairly valued taking into consideration the future tax hit and a payout of say 10-12 %. Personally I wouldn't risk my dough for that kinda return in an energy trust which is why I was all out a long time, and too soon :O) So I think they are still too pricey.. mostly ... I bought some Thunder. A 26% yield is worth a gamble..

Gulo Another magnficent post, my thoughts exactly. I detect that the people complaining the most were those who held way too many income trusts or held them on margin.
