CJ, > The Ocean Conveyor has shut down in the past. It shuts down on the scale of a decade or so, and gets re-established on the scale of centuries or longer.

Then what's there to worry about? Except the decade or so when it does shut down and we hear more and more alarmists pointing to that as "proof" of global warming?

We can't even have a single heat wave or hurricane come and go without the alarmists crying wolf. Katrina was bad, but the 2006 hurricane season came and went with little to show.
