<< " I'd hardly call it a "reality check" since the hypotheticals raised hadn't occurred." >>

Huh huh. And that's precisely what got Dale's attention & why it's a "reality check" to him. That post was chock full of lib wet dream hypotheticals. IMO, that's exactly where Dale sees/hopes/prays & wet dreams that this country is headed because of the failed/evil/fascist policies of his arch nemesis Bush.

Recall that Dale & his merry band of "centrists" cheered on the exaggerated & misleading reports of "missed" enlistment goals a while back. To them it was a sign of the above mentioned failed policies, etc. It was beyond their comprehension that anyone would freely enlist to serve given all of the revisionist lib world view memes they embraced.

And when that recruitment shortfall quickly ended, note too that it was mentioned as often by the "centrists" there as it was by the MSM. Yet, this wet dream post is now seen by Dale as a "reality check".

One thing for sure. Topics that the regulars on that thread widely agree upon can be counted on to be anything but reality based.

Speaking of wet dream - I mistakenly* rented the movie, 'American Dreamz' over the weekend.

Sheesh! Talk about over the top, liberal wet dream! It was a non-stop series of liberal memes. I bet there was at least one overt meme every 90 seconds. I couldn't come close to listing them all without re-screening the movie & pausing to write down each one as they happen. Even then I'd probably miss a few dozen of them.

It was so over the top that rather than turn it off in disgust I just had to keep watching. It was like watching someone who is so filled with hate that they can't help themselves. They constantly vent their spleen, ranting, raving & make a complete ass out of themselves 24/7. Yet they consider themselves rational, thoughtful & dead serious.

No doubt the "centrists" at the "View" gave it two thumbs up.

* It was a mistake because American Dreamz made my do not see list. As you know Hollywood has gone round the bend with the DNC & MSM. I'd rather not watch any of their over the top leftist world view type movies. Unfortunately, I rented it in a store rather than my usual online rentals through Blockbuster Online (I simply do not put any leftist wet dream movies on my online que). Anyway, they just started a new program - Total Access. I can get a free in store rental by returning my online rentals to a store rather than send it back in the pre-paid envelope. I am so caught up on newly released movies that I've watched almost everything I'm remotely interested in in a typical Blockbuster store. So when I saw a new movie with Dennis Quaid, Willem Dafoe & Hugh Grant, I jsut grabbed it. Sigh!
