Hi Tom,
Boone, Blowing Rock, Asheville, all very special places. Know them well. Asheville is one of my favorite places in North America, especially in the spring and fall. We're about 4 1/2 hours east.

Having lived in the Appalachians for a while, I must say that they are beautiful. I miss the spring. One day we would wake up and what had been brown was suddenly lush green as far as the eye can see until the green met the fresh blue sky.
