Well, this is why numbers are our friends....EBITDA can enter the picture and give you a whole different look than GAAP. If I tell you I have a GAAP "profit", and you use EBITDA we can both find somebody who will tell one or the other of us that the family had a good year....

let me turn it back on you...do you think, for good accounting, that the costs of the Iraq war should not, repeat...not, be carried as expense in the budget numbers and analysis of the deficit and debt?

Because much of that cost, underestimated as it is, is being handled just that way. Does it make you feel better? Or worse?
