But, wouldn't 'happy holidays' offend people who are miserable? Even worse, 'holidays' is from 'holy days.' Any suggestions?

I tried being politically correct a few years, but about four years ago, I started saying Merry Christmas - because this is the land where the majority rules and the majority of us believe in Christmas, and thats why we have that holiday because it's CHRISTMAS for heaven's sake.

Next time someone says Happy Holidays, say Merry Christmas back,and you know what. They smile and say Merry Christmas, too. Let us be free of political correctitude and start honoring tradition.
