I've found that lots of folks(and probably Karen) tend to have a problem understanding the difference between gross and net income. In my particular case, either it is a business expense or it's not, I don't have to worry much about caps, especially since they raised the amount that can be outright expensed(sec 179) on the depreciation form. Most in my line(if the year was good enough) are looking for business improving equipment this time of year to buy to cut their tax liabilities. Surely puts a lot of money back into the economy as opposed to letting the politicians waste it.
