Snowfall was generally overforecast last night--
I got only a skiff (less than 1/4") and it was
looking rather melty out there this afternoon.

I said to my kids--you wanna go out and saucer
on our little hill? There is still enough snow.
No, it's no good now Dad--it's melting.

Even the kids know when the back of old man
winter is broken. We don't get a lot of snow
here in Seattle, but when we do get a few inches
what fun we have. But it never stays long enough.

and now...EL NINO!
The first couple weeks of December looks to be
very boring weatherwise in Seattle. Classic
El-Nino pattern, mean ridge, split flow etc.
