Hagel is running unsuccessfully for media darling. Until McCain stops being the darling liberal at the ball, Hagel can't get much notice. He reminds me of the friend of the popular kids who has to be outrageous to receive any attention in the popular crowd.

He didn't have enough money to run for Senate in Virginia so he moved to Nebraska where open Senate seats were cheaper to buy. (Too bad for the Son Of Boss at Ameritrade who found out that an open check book doesn't always buy a contested seat.)
