Same argument for Israel. They would have to develop a bomb in a form factor that can be smuggled into Israel which is a far cry from their current capability to enrich low grade uranium. Don’t be fooled by the phony rhetoric from the wacko president which has no real power. They are not stupid, they know Israel has an ability to respond in a fashion that would eliminate every living being in Iran. Israel is more than capable to take care of itself. I am sure of that. US government should take care of Americans.
