"Unfortunately, three years in California is turning me into a weather wimp. It won't be long before I even forget how to drive in snow, and I start acting like a typical West coaster driver, who only knows how to hit the accelerator or the brake REALLY hard."

Yes, I'm missing S. CA right now, as I gaze out at 3" of snow on my walk, thinking I really need to get out and shovel it - at least before the mailman comes.

Can you IMAGINE the carnage on the freeways is S. Cal had a freeze with rain?

In S. CA, its always smart to stay off the road for the first few days during and after the first rains in Oct or Nov. If not, an accident is almost inevitable.
