Governments don't have surpluses. They have over taxation. Now please understand I am not against paying down the debt, I am against the government boasting about something that is a lie. A government might have a few million as a surplus, but the Billions they are calling the Surplus is just blatant lies. From both parties. And we would not have this mess if they hadn't gotten us in debt in the first place. The Governments screwed up, as always we pay for it. But we are still paying 8 weeks more taxes than the US.
